In August 2025, Orcades Marine carried out an extensive water and soil sampling campaign around Singapore coastal waters. Over 240 samples were collected from 60 locations by the team which included staff from Elcee Instruments, as well as researchers from both National University of Singapore and Nanyang Technological University. The team was supported by Lita Ocean with their boat, as well as Marchwood Laboratory Services in testing of the samples.
